Odamex Version 0.6.1
Odamex is a free and open source port for the classic first-person-shooter Doom. It emulates and retains many aspects of the original Doom executables while offering a broader expanse of security features, personal configuration, gameplay options, and editing tools. It is compatible with a wide range of operating systems and hardware.
The Odamex program is available in a unified installer for Windows and in a flat zip file for other platforms. The unified installer is recommended as it provides both the client and server executables for a single download. The unified installer is also capable of automatically installing any patches required to run the Odamex server.
Version 0.6.1 was released on May 12th, 2012.
